Led the motion to write a letter of support from DSEA Exec Board for the NEASO during their strikes from NEA
When DSEA’s endorsed pick for Governor was no longer an option, I led the motion to make another endorsement to ensure that the candidate who most closely aligned with DSEA’s values and work was given the support needed to get him over the finish line

Has only missed one meeting during her time on the DSEA Executive Board
This was a special meeting scheduled the same day as a Robotics competition (I was the coach)
Arrives at all meetings prepared for discussion
Asks questions and makes motions to ensure that members are fully represented
Views DSEA Executive Board membership as an active position…I don’t go there just to sit, I go to meetings to speak and give a voice to our members

Brought a successful New Business Item (NBI) to the 2025 RA to form a Task Force to explore opening a Sussex County office
Started a Facebook page (Sussex Solidarity) to continue to spread the good work of union work in Sussex County

Attend DSEA’s Legislative Receptions to meet directly with law makers
Have sat on endorsement interview committees for positions ranging from Lieutenant Governor to Insurance Commissioner
Attended this past summer’s Special Session at Leg Hall and spoke to the only legislator who made a point to talk to our group
Spoke at Sussex County Council meetings twice in reference to Impact Fees
Led the charge to wrangle up over 600 petition signatures, which was presented to the Council
